Her eyes sweep through the broken land,
She wishes she could understand,
This wasn't what we all had planned,
The death of man, the death of man.
Her vision blurs and then she sees,
A world of beauty, lakes and trees,
Creatures living happily,
In harmony, in harmony
Her sight is dual, she can compare,
What darkness brings with its despair,
And all the things that light can bear,
How will they fare? How will they fare?
A war between these different sides,
A battle between day and night,
A crucial clashing, natural fight,
Of dark and light, of dark and light.
The darkness has its tempting ways,
Seducing you to start to stray,
